Road Traffic accident involving a civilian car and a Strathclyde Fire Service Vehicle. At 12.30 today on the A737 bypass at the junction of Wardrope Street and Head Street Beith. Both drivers were taken to the RAH in Paisley. It is was only last year a fire appliance from Strathclyde Fire Service had a accident at the same spot..It is not known if the vehicle was attending a 999 call at the time. Strathclyde police from the road traffice section were at the scene.
